The Filter Facial offers a non-invasive solution to remove unwanted facial vellus hair (peach fuzz) and exfoliate the skin. Using a medical blade at a 45-degree angle, our practitioners gently scrape the skin, followed by a mild Dermamelan Intimate Peel or hydration mask to enhance the results. This treatment removes the outer layer of dead skin, promoting better skincare penetration, a healthier complexion and a perfect canvas for makeup application.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During the treatment, your practitioner will cleanse and dry your skin before using a medical blade to gently scrape away dead skin cells and vellus hair. This is then followed by a mild peel or a hydrating mask tailored to your skin’s needs. The entire process is painless and almost relaxing, leaving your skin immediately smoother and more radiant.


Each Filter Facial lasts 1 hour. It includes dermaplaning, followed by a tailored peel or mask, safe for even pregnant or breastfeeding clients. Expect a slight dry stage for hours post-treatment, so schedule your facial at least one week before any special event. For optimal results, we recommend monthly treatments.

Post-Treatment Care

Post-treatment, avoid the face (e.g. saunas) and using unclean makeup brushes for 24 hours to prevent infection. Your skin may feel slightly dry for hours. This is completely normal and will resolve quickly, leaving you with a glowing complexion.
