We do not pluck or pull hairs, so hair growth remains unchanged, making this treatment a safe and effective option.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During the treatment, your practitioner will cleanse and dry your skin before using a medical blade to gently scrape away dead skin cells and vellus hair. This is then followed by a mild peel or a hydrating mask tailored to your skin’s needs. The entire process is and almost relaxing, leaving your skin immediately smoother and more radiant.


Each Filter Facial lasts 1 hour. It includes dermaplaning, Traptox followed by a tailored peel or hydration mask, safe for even or breastfeeding clients. Expect a slight dry stage for hours post-treatment, so schedule your facial at least one week before any event. For optimal results, we recommend monthly treatments.

Post-Treatment Care

Post-treatment, avoid overheating the face (e.g. saunas) and using unclean makeup brushes for 24 hours to prevent infection. Your skin may feel slightly dry for hours. This is completely normal and will resolve quickly, leaving you with a glowing complexion.

Who is this safe for?






Completely safe for or breastfeeding women. However, it is not recommended for those with active acne or open wounds in the treatment area.





What are the risks and precautions?






We use single-use medical blades for each treatment, unlike reusable over-the-counter options that can cause folliculitis. While there’s a minor risk of cuts if the patient moves suddenly, our experienced ensure a relaxing experience. This procedure exposes fresh, hair-free smooth skin, so it’s to avoid overheating the face and using unclean makeup brushes for the first 24 hours to prevent any risk of infection.




Is there any downtime?






There is no downtime, but please avoid excess heat for 24 hours.
