Mission & VisionThe Interdisciplinary Research Network "Collections of the Austro-Hungarian Navy" serves as a platform for interdisciplinary academic exchange and cooperation among scholars studying the collection holdings acquired through the expeditions of the Austro-Hungarian Navy to Europe. Who we areIn December 2024, the Weltmuseum Wien hosted the workshop ‘Provenance research with a focus on collections of the Imperial Navy of Austria-Hungary’, during which the idea of establishing a permanent working group was proposed. PublicationsNewsletter "Log Book – Habsburg Naval Heritage Collections" The newsletter "Log Book – Habsburg Naval Heritage Collections" serves the internal and external communication of the Interdisciplinary Research Network. Published as an e-paper bulletin, it is addressed to both the group and the interested public. Operating as a flexible network without a rigid institutional framework, the initiative invites experts, researchers, and institutions to subscribe to the e-paper and contribute to this interdisciplinary exchange.
