Directories and Repositories

The Interdisciplinary Research Network “Collections of the Austro-Hungarian Navy” prepares and curates comprehensive directories and digital repositories dedicated to the history of naval expeditions and the collecting activities of personnel of the Habsburg Navy. The project brings together historical, maritime, and scientific perspectives to document objects, specimens, and archival materials gathered during expeditions across the Adriatic, the Mediterranean, and overseas regions. By systematically linking individuals, voyages, collections, and institutions, the network aims to support scholarly research and to make the material legacy of Austro-Hungarian naval activity accessible to an international audience.
